Luis R. Baez brings 25 years of upstream oil and gas experience to every engagement. His career spans exploration and appraisal, development planning, produced water management, SWD regulatory navigation, reservoir modeling, and commercial structuring across the Permian Basin and beyond.
Prior to founding ARA, Luis held senior technical and advisory roles where he led basin-wide water movement modeling, developed ML-enhanced injection forecasting frameworks, coordinated joint ventures, and structured complex commercial arrangements between operators and midstream water companies.
He founded Allerton Resource Associates to bring that depth of experience directly to operators, midstream water companies, and technology firms — without the staffing layers, institutional constraints, or overhead of large consulting firms.
